Winter
Visitors! |
Bring on the snow!! We start early with special
New Years Eve rates, and when mother nature co-operates you can have
limited snowmobiling over the Christmas season.
The summer catfish pond turns into a skating rink all winter beginning
at New Years.
At New Years we light a fire at the pond, enjoy hot chocolate, bring
some music and count down to the New Year with skating and fire works.
Surrounded by tress, and lit up for night skating it's a picture
postcard memory maker.

| Winter visitors
can expect:
If you snowmobile we can offer only weekly rates which are kept
reasonable. We only offer weekly rates because we want you to use our
camp/our area as a hub for 5 different day trips, which include North
Bay, Sudbury, Britt/Parry Sound, South River or Trout Creek. We groom a
2 mile trail to the OFSC trail D102C for easy access. Think of it, you
can trailer your machine to the front door of a warm wood heated
housekeeping cottage (we can keep fires on while you are on tour) and
do it a lot cheaper than staying in the larger towns. We provide your
bedding, so all you need is your personal items.
For the Ice-Fishermen
we have propane heated huts that can hold 2-6 men
very comfortably. We offer package rates that include accommodation,
fish hut rental, bait and transportation(one trip out and back) supplied. Our cottages are
fully equipped in the winter with TV's, BBQ's, microwaves and all the
necessary cooking utensils to cook with. We find with groups of guys
they would rather sleep in sleeping bags, so all we provide are the
pillow cases and you bring your sleeping bags. Don't forget your skates
too, because our skating pond is up and running all winter.
Cross-country skiing and tobogganing are always a must in the winter.
We have 100 acres of land you can ski or toboggan on. Or drive 4 km and
cross country ski approximately 7 km of groomed trails at your leisure.
